Abbey House dates back to 1542 and sits next to Malmesbury Abbey which was one of the last Monasteries to be closed at the Dissolution. This amazing house and its surrounding five acres of gardens, houses many secret places that the visitor would be truly amazed by! The gardens themselves have become world famous as being the home of the 'Naked Gardeners' and has been featured by the BBC on several occasions.
The house is ideal for special occasions such as weddings and anniversary parties as well as exclusive conferences and meetings. The Library will hold up to 100 for a wedding ceremony and the Belvedere outside can hold up to 140. The inner rooms are available for small conferences and meetings and are ideal for those who want to get away from their working environment to brainstorm or discuss business. The atmosphere at Abbey House is peaceful and very conducive to that special occasion - in fact the house has to be seen to be believed!
Abbey House has many surprises and the 'Music Room' at Abbey House really is a room with a difference! Make your own 'sweet' music here - it's a jewel that has to be seen!
