A Civil Partnership is the joining of a same sex couple into a legal partnership, the same as a heterosexual marriage and couples can legally join in a Civil Ceremony from the age of 16 with parents consent, or 18 years old and allows for the same rights as for opposite sex couples.
A Civil Partnership must take place in either a Register office or in a venue that is specially licenced to carry out this ceremony and FAB! are able to find suitable venues for prospective couples across the country.
There is a set form of words for the ceremony but you will be able to include music, poetry and readings, all these elements work towards enhancing your ceremony and can express your sentiments beautifully, making it totally your own. Your Registrar or Celebrant will be able to guide you down the legal route.
As with all events FAB! are delighted to put Civil Partnerships in place at the venue of your choice as well as take care of everything that will make your special day complete. We have access to a myriad of suppliers from florists to photographers, caterers to transport. So whether it’s just the two of you and your witnesses or you are celebrating with a hundred of your friends we can find the right space for you – we take the strain, all you have is the day you always wanted.
